Cody Rhodes’ WWE Return Takes the Top Spot
WWE officially chose the return of Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38 as the biggest moment in WWE history. The decision of Rhodes to depart WWE in 2016 alongside his role in AEW establishment made viewers believe they would never witness him compete in WWE rings once more. Before WrestleMania 38 Rollins lost his planned competition which led fans to speculate that Rhodes would step in as the unknown opponent. His entrance theme triggered a dramatic response from the audience which became a top moment in WrestleMania history. The match victory against Rollins at this emotional comeback became a milestone that cemented Rhodes as an all-time great.

The Hardy Boyz’ Legendary Comeback
WrestleMania 33 produced one of the most memorable WWE historical moments when the Hardy Boyz returned to the ring. The tag team division witnessed a revolution because of the high-flying style introduced by fan-favorite wrestlers Matt and Jeff Hardy until their long absence. Following their WWE absence the brothers made their comeback in a shocking four-team ladder match which contested for the Raw Tag Team Championships. The enormous crowd reaction reached such intensity that people could not hear as the Hardys secured their victory along with a historic match win.

Other Legendary Returns The WWE audience experienced great surprise when Warrior returned after an almost year-long absence by rushing into the ring to protect Hulk Hogan from Sid Justice and Papa Shango's assault. One of WWE’s largest performers announced his comeback to the ring through his comeback appearance.

The Undertaker has had several iconic returns to WrestleMania, and his WrestleMania 20 return comes in fourth in WWE’s rankings. His return in 2004 alongside Paul Bearer and the signature bell described in chilling detail was The Deadman’s return after months of taking a hiatus as American Badass. Other Taker returns on the list are at WrestleMania 34, and his last return at WrestleMania 40.

Multiple people appear on the list like John Cena, who has his most shooking return at WrestleMania 35 at rank 6. Cena left a mark in the WWE when ho returned as The Doctor of Thuganomics, and interrupted Elias in a pure cringe, yet nostalgic scene. Cena’s other returns include WrestleMania 32, and the more recent one at WrestleMania 40.

At number nine, Stone Cold Steve Austin made history by participating in his first match in nearly two decades at WrestleMania 38 Versus Kevin Owens. Austin's interview of Owens transformed into an entire match and Stone Cold delivered a classic performance, taking the victory in his home state of Texas.

Unforeseen Additions
Included pets are Stephane McMahon’s appearance at WrestleMania 40, Pete Rose’s return at Wrestlemania 14, and Pat McAfee’s surprise match at Wrestlemania 39. Although there are not as many iconic thought these captures do not miss out on the legendary WrestleMania highlights.

WWE’s ranking of WrestleMania all-time returns also reveals the large number of breathtaking, jaw-dropping changes of WrestleMania in history. From a superstar comebacking from an injury to a world-known legend making his way onto the ring to a legendary, shocking come-back during a match, ‘Mania keeps surprising fans every single year.
