Saraya made a formal announcement about leaving All Elite Wrestling (AEW) which closed her time with the company. During an episode of Rulebreakers With Saraya on Entertainment Weekly she disclosed her decision to leave AEW while sharing her experiences in the company.
Saraya spent an important period
of her wrestling career at AEW. She returned to professional wrestling
competition with the company in a surprising debut appearance during September
2022 following an extended period of doubt caused by a major neck injury.
Saraya's comeback event became a profound emotional point in today's wrestling
which moved supporters everywhere.
Saraya achieved the highest
point in her AEW career by winning the AEW Women’s World Championship at All
In: London in August 2023. The Wembley Stadium victory in front of her domestic
audience made winning the championship title into a lifelong dream for her and
established a permanent place in AEW history.
Saraya has decided to retire
from the wrestling business at this point in her career. She acknowledged that
she felt she no longer matched the current environment. I have doubts about
occupying this position because another person might be better suited to do
something extraordinary.
The wrestling world does not know what the future holds for Saraya but her contributions to AEW and wrestling are already widely recognized. AEW fans eagerly anticipate both Saraya's future movements inside or outside the promotion after she departs from AEW wrestling.
